Our mission is to exceed our patients’ expectations, provide our patients and visitors with prompt, personalized attention, and lead the field as the most effective and compassionate provider of medical rehabilitation.
Physical Therapy
Our Physical Therapists teach patients how to manage their injury or disability so that they will prevent further injury and achieve long-term health benefits. Each patients is examined and provided a plan of care, using treatment techniques to promote the ability to move, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability.
Speech Therapy
Speech language pathologists work with individuals whose oral motor, swallowing, cognitive-linguistic, speech or language skills have been affected by a neurological event, disease, head/neck cancer, or possibly debilitation due to an underlying medical disease process. Speech-language pathologists develop an individualized plan of care that is tailored to each patient’s needs. They might recommend alternate nutrition and diet levels to assist with swallowing, design an individualized communication system, or prescribe a speech generating device for individuals with nonfunctional speech. They provide education to patients, their family members, and caregivers regarding impairments, disease processes, and compensatory strategies.
Occupational Therapy
Our Occupational Therapists assess the impact an injury or disability has in relation to the patient’s capacity to complete activities of daily living and household mobility tasks. Our Occupational Therapy team uses clinically proven interventions and modalities to help patients develop, recover, improve independence, and maintain the skills needed to live independently as possible.
Restorative
Our Restorative Program improves the residents’ quality of life by helping the patient recover and/or maintain their independence in ADL and mobility. Our team helps minimize the risk of a decline in ADL function. Certified Restorative Aides work with residents for 30 minutes either in the room or in the therapy gym. The Restorative department works hand in hand with our Therapy Department and follows their recommendation to continue exercises that were initiated in skilled therapy.
