Transitional Care Center

Our approach to rehabilitation is widely recognized for helping patients regain, to the greatest extent possible, any functionality lost because of surgery, illness, or accident. Intense, productive, one-on-one physical therapy from highly qualified professionals, delivered in an environment of continuous care, giving our short-term residents the best possible results.

Upon admission, our staff will complete a comprehensive evaluation in conjunction with physician's orders to set up an individualized Plan of Care to fit each resident's specific needs. During the stay each resident is closely monitored to determine realistic goals and treatment procedures. In addition, our interdisciplinary team meets weekly to discuss each resident's progress. When a resident is ready to return home, our staff will coordinate the necessary equipment and home care services required to facilitate a smooth transition.

Outpatient Therapy Center

The Abington

At the Abington of Glenview Outpatient Therapy Center our primary goal is to provide hands-on physical therapy and rehabilitation to help the patient reach their maximum potential. Our physical therapy staff consists of licensed physical therapists trained to meet each patient's individual needs. We specialize in sports injury, post-surgery, orthopedic and work-related injury rehabilitation. Our 3200 square foot facility features up to date equipment and an excellent staff. The Abington Outpatient Therapy Center offers convenient morning, evening and weekend hours. We accept most insurance plans as well as Medicare. Years of experience give the Abington the knowledge and expertise to provide the best therapy possible.
