Our family thanks The Abington Family

I would like to thank your staff for all of the support, concern, and special care that was given to my father, Harvey Rubin, during his one year stay at the Abington. Carol and her second floor nursing staff made themselves available when I requested information, had questions, or just wanted to talk. Their conscientiousness, compassion, frequent calls, and kind manner assured me that my father was in good hands. The CNA's, were also extremely instrumental in helping my dad to feel and look his best each day. His "special buddy", Martin, became a trusted family friend who could always bring a smile to my dad’s face or coax him to cooperate, when necessary. The occupational therapy team rank highly as well. Their cheerful, yet assertive nature was important as they encouraged him to focus and work hard during sessions.

Older, disabled adults are not always happy or easy to please. I commend you all on your diligent efforts to make your resident’s final days as comfortable, pleasant, and as dignified as possible. Our family thanks The Abington Family.
